Culture minister to meet media and intellectuals

JEDDAH – The Minister of Culture and Information, Abdul Aziz Khoja, is scheduled to hold an open meeting with members of the media and intellectuals at Jeddah’s King Fahd Culture Center at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday. The gathering has been organized by Jeddah Literary Club on the sidelines of an event marking the Book of the Year Prize, an award shared this year between Awatif Nawab, for her “Travels in the Aqsa Arab Meghrib from Hijazi Historical Sources”, and Audi Al-Harabash.Jeddah Literary Club publications, including the wining works of the 2009 book prize, will be available at the function. – Okaz/SG
