Six fishermen detained in Khobar

DAMMAM – Frontier Guard teams in the Eastern Province have rescued a fishing boat that suffered from a technical dysfunction in the middle of the sea off the coast of Al-Qateef. The rescue teams evacuated the seamen and towed the boat to the shore. Meanwhile, marine patrols detained six fishermen on a boat for violating fishing rules and sailing near restricted areas. Also, security patrols in Al-Batha in Riyadh arrested an Asian who crossed a restricted area. Authorities have opened an investigation into the incident in order to determine the man’s motives. ­– Okaz/jSG
