Pickpocket trio arrested

JEDDAH – Police have arrested three Yemenis for numerous acts of pickpocketing which targeted worshippers at mosques and shoppers in crowded areas of the city. The gang of three teenagers, all of whom were in violation of work and residency laws, would work jointly on persons as they exited mosques by bumping into them and distracting them as another carried out the act of theft, the police said. – Okaz/SG
