Cracks appear in Yanbu houses

YANBU – The sun rose Wednesday on cracked houses in Yanbu Al-Bahr as tremors rocked Harat Al-Shaqah in Al-Eis area all through Tuesday night. The Civil Defense received over 350 reports of earth tremors. Abdullah Al-Juhani and Hamad Al-Refae, residents of Yanbu Al-Bahr, said that their houses had cracks in them as a result of Tuesday night’s seismic activity.The people of Yanbu Al-Bahr have opened their doors to the fleeing residents of Al-Eis and are hosting them in their own houses. Private schools in the city have enrolled over 150 students from Al-Eis free of charge. – Okaz/SG
