Xenel group building power plants in Pakistan

JEDDAH – Xenel group is installing a 225 mega watt power plant in Lahore in a joint venture with local investor, announced Muntasir M. Zeinal Alireza, CEO of Saudi Can Company, at a meeting organized by Pakistan Executive Group (PEG) here recently.
The commercial operation is expected this September, he said.
Similarly two more power plants are under way in Pakistan – one at Luraib Bong (84 MW) and the other at Norowal (225 MW) under the umbrella of HUBCO.
 The objective of PEG is to encourage the trade relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
The five-year-old group has around 100 members and is based in Jeddah. – SG?
