Jawazat’s e-service at Jeddah’s Serafi Mall

RIYADH – The Passports Department (Jawazat) has opened an e-service office at Serafi Mall in Jeddah. The e-office will furnish citizens and expatriates with exit re-entry visas, final exit visas and renew housemaid iqama residency cards.
This is the sixth e-office to open as there is already one in operation at Tahliya Mall in Jeddah and four others in Riyadh.
“Our strategy is to reduce the processing time and effort for citizens and residents, and provide them with services wherever they are in the Kingdom,” said Col. Badar Muhammad Al-Malek, spokesman for the Passports Department.
“The e-service officers work two shifts, one in the morning from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and the other in the evening from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. They also work Thursday and Friday evenings,” he said. — SG/SPA
