SAUDI-YEMEN BORDER – The Saudi military repelled a group of infiltrators attempting to enter the Kingdom near Al-Ardah in the southwest of Jizan on Thursday.
Sources said the group failed in a missile attack on a security post and incurred deaths and injuries during the Saudi air and ground artillery response.
The confrontation, which reportedly lasted approximately one hour, also led to the arrest of an undisclosed number of infiltrators.
The same sources said that the number of infiltrators attempting to enter the Kingdom had been reduced this month with Saudi forces assuming full control at border sites. – Okaz/SG
