NATION Four die in ‘horrific’ head-on crash

AL-NI’EIRIYA – A high-speed head-on collision between two Toyota Camry vehicles on the Al-Khafji to Al-Ni’eiriya Highway led to the deaths of two Kuwaiti women and two Saudis Sunday.
The accident, which occurred approximately 15 km north of Al-Ni’eiriya, caused a fire in the vehicle carrying two Saudi males and rescue teams arrived to find their bodies charred from the blaze.
The two deceased Kuwaiti women were being driven by a man whose condition was described by doctors as “extremely serious”. Witnesses at the site of the accident described the scene as “horrific”, with the collision resulting in body parts being scattered across the highway among the wreckage. – Okaz/SG
