By Mansour Al-Sheheri
Riyadh – The General Authority of Prisons has prepared three temporary prisons in the holy sites in Jamarat Al-Aqba, Muzdalifa and Arafat for those who commit crimes and stand trial during Haj.
Brigadier Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Director General of Prisons for Administrative Affairs, said the General Authority of Prisons has assigned 50 officers, 180 non-commissioned officers and employees to look after the three prisons prepared by the Authority in the holy sites.
In addition to this, he said, the Authority has assigned 16 officers to help organize traffic in the holy sites and 1278 non-commissioned officers to support the general security forces.
He said the officers and non-commissioned officers assigned by the Authority work hand in hand with the security forces to preserve the security and safety of pilgrims besides running the three prisons in the holy sites. – Okaz/SG
