On June 14 Iranians are supposed to be electing their new president. The “supposed” is there because at two crucial stages in the process, they will be robbed of genuine choice.

While most of the well-known banks in the city of Riyadh provide admirable customer service, a certain bank in one of its heavily patronized branches has resorted to restricting the number of transactions a customer is permitted at a given time.

With regard to the report "A strange request from SEC" (May 20), the request of the SEC chairman to regulate the time when people use electricity is not as strange as it seems to be.
