MoH ‘wasted’ SR12b on doctors training program

TAIF – The Ministry of Health has “wasted” SR12 billion on a program meant to train family and community doctors because 56 percent of the graduates have ended up in administrative jobs in Makkah Region, according to informed sources quoted by Asharq Arabic daily based in Dammam.Some of the doctors, said the sources, were assigned work in religious awareness and information technology departments.There is only 24 percent Saudization at the country’s primary healthcare centers, according to statistics
