RIYADH — The Ministry of Tourism launched its new identity logo that showcases the Kingdom’s richness and diversity in tourism and cultural heritage.

The new ID embraces the color of the Kingdom’s flag through displaying vibrant colors and illustrates its map that extends north, south, east and west. It links with the experience of the visitor, who travels between the Kingdom’s tourist destinations, seeking the values of Saudi hospitality.

The new identity blends with the logo of welcoming the world, which came in conjunction with the launching of the tourist visa regime for visitors from all over the world, while granting citizens of 49 countries access to the Kingdom through on arrival visa portal. This is also applied to holders of Shenzhen and American visas.

The government has so far issued more than 400,000 tourist visas. The new identity is expected to boost the ministry’s drive to achieve the goals of the national tourism strategy, which included the sector’s contribution to local income by 10 percent, in addition to creating one million new jobs, and achieving 100 million visits by 2030.
