OIC condemns anti-Muslim violence in India

JEDDAH —
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the recent alarming violence against Muslims in India, resulting in the death and injury of innocent people, and the arson and vandalism of mosques and properties.

In a press statement issued on Thursday, the pan Islamic body offered its sincere condolences to the families of the victims of these heinous acts.

The OIC called on Indian authorities to bring the instigators and perpetrators of these acts of to justice. It also urged the authorities to ensure the safety and security of all Muslim citizens and the protection of Islamic holy places across the country.
