Young Saudi engineers complete a series of training provided by Japan

RIYADH — Qualified 29 Saudi engineers have completed quality control training program organized jointly by the Kingdom and Japan as part of a long-term strategic partnership between two countries.

QC training is one of 3 training to be conducted in MODON Jeddah before March this year, and the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources planned the program together with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and organizations including SME Support Japan and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME).

Mohammad Bin AbdulWahab Sharyan, Director of Western Sector, MODON; and Masayuki Miyamoto, Consul General of Consulate- General of Japan, awarded completion certifications to the engineers. Training ended with a great satisfaction from the participants in terms of practical training content that are applicable to their working environment.

The rest of two training, Six Sigma training and Lean Production System, will be on Feb. 2- 6, and February 16-20, respectively, in MODON Jeddah. — SG
