BEIJING — Saudi Arabia’s Embassy has urged Saudi citizens in China to leave the country in the wake of the outbreak of the new Coronavirus. “Out of keenness on the safety of all Saudi citizens who are either residing or visiting China, and in view of the continued outbreak of the new Coronavirus in the country, the embassy urges those citizens, who are willing to leave China, to do so for the safety of theirs as well as that of their families,” the embassy said in a statement, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said on Sunday.

It also called on citizens, who wish to visit China for any business or tourism purposes, to stay back for some time. In an advisory to the Saudis remaining in China, the embassy emphasized that everyone should stay indoors, and take care with adherence to the preventive measures for the safety of their health until up to the time of their departure from the country.
