Experts explore latest training technologies for Saudi workforce empowerment

RIYADH — Under the patronage of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), the “Futuristic Advancement Forum” will start on January 27, 2020 (Monday). It will take place in Riyadh with the participation of eight local and international experts exploring the future of empowering the professional workforce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Forum will take its guests on an exhilarating journey to explore the trends of modern technology that are integrated into the workplaces to raise the level of training and employee performance. Thus targeting the qualifying of Saudi youth, embodying the Kingdom's 2030 vision that aims to invest in human competencies and attract the best minds in the world to contribute to advancing development and raising the quality of life.

Ms. Rajaa Abdulrahman Moumena, a member of the Forum Council, who is the founder and president of the Future Institute of Higher Education and Training – the official sponsor of the forum – announced the participation of the Canadian author and lecturer Ian Khan. He is one of the most influential experts in the world, appeared several times on the CNN network and topped the platforms of many international conferences. She also announced the participation of the famous German writer Elsa Sotiriadis, who tops the list of best-selling books in science fiction, the Dutch expert on robotics and artificial intelligence Christian Kromme, the Saudi artificial intelligence engineer Sami Al Hussayen, the expert of education development using technology Dr. Mounira Jamjoom along with the expert Lamees Hazbawi and Dr. Janine Shahal from the UK's largest awarding professional qualifications body in Britain.

Ms. Rajaa stressed that the Forum will be held in its first edition under the title “Modern Technology in Training”, as it aims primarily to encourage society to take bold steps towards consolidating modern technology as the most important tributaries of training. Therefore, bringing together a group of the most prominent experts and specialists in reading the future from around the world, and explaining the latest technologies used and adapted by corporations in order to empower individuals in the institutional system.

She also noted that the Forum offers a number of interactive sessions, focused on promoting the inspiring creative faculties and aspirations of the participants, the main directions for reshaping management and learning, digital transformation and the fourth industrial revolution and industrial intelligence, the world of robotics e-learning and human development and the journey towards the future. Moreover, the workshop of expert Lamees Hazbawi deals with how to build a personal brand, while Dr. Janine Shahal addresses the future of employment in 2030 and Ian Khan offers promising ideas that enable individuals to develop their future.

Ms. Moumena pointed out that the “Futuristic Advancement Forum” is a gesture of social responsibility from the Future Institute, the official sponsor who had started its career 28 years ago as one of the leading tributaries of Saudi training, graduating more than 12,000 male and female trainees and enabling them to succeed and develop in the business world. — SG
