Jeddah Night Run to hold today on Corniche

JEDDAH — To mark the World Diabetes Day, which falls on Nov. 14, Abeer Medical Group is organizing Jeddah Night Run on Jeddah Corniche on Thursday evening. Abeer Group President Mohammed Alungal will flag off the event at 5.00 p.m. from Al-Tawheed Square on Jeddah Water front.

Several prominent figures from Saudi and expatriate communities will attend the event. More than 5,000 people are expected to participate in the marathon, which is being held in partnership with Jeddah’s Masafat Club.

The run includes different categories like children run, family run, 3 km run, and skating.

The findings of a survey conducted by Abeer Group among school students as part of diabetes awareness will be made public at the event, according to the organizers. — SG
