RIYADH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has appointed Prince Faisal Bin Farhan as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, replacing Ibrahim Al-Assaf. In a series of royal decrees issued on Wednesday evening, the King relieved Minister of Transport Nabeel Al-Amoudi of his position and appointed Saleh Al-Jasser, director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines, as the new minister, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Ibrahim Al-Assaf has been appointed Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet. The King appointed Dr. Assam Al-Waqit as director of National Information Center. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi is appointed as the new president of Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority in the rank of a minister while Saleh Al-Othaim named as his deputy. In another royal decree, Tareq Al-Shadai was appointed as president of the National Data Management Office.
