JEDDAH —
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, held wide ranging talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Thursday.

At the outset of the meeting, the Pakistani prime minister strongly denounced the attacks on Saudi Aramco’s plants in Abqaiq and Khurais. He pledged Pakistan’s full support and stand with Saudi Arabia with all its capabilities in confronting these acts of sabotage.

For his part, the Crown Prince stressed that these acts are aimed to undermine the security and stability of the region, affirming the importance of countering such acts of sabotage.

The meeting was also attended by Prince Turki Bin Mohammed Bin Fahd, minister of the state and member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar, minister of the National Guard; Ibrahim Al-Assaf, minister of foreign affairs; Khalid Al-Humaidan, chief of General Intelligence; Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Al-Malki, and the Pakistani prime minister’s accompanying delegation.

Earlier, Imran Khan was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Al-Assaf and a number of officials.
