UBT and HALJ hold training program for project managers

JEDDAH — In line with Vision 2030 to qualify practitioners with international standards and competencies, the Executive Education of the University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah trained a number of senior and middle managers of Hadia Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Company in Project and Risk Management.

The four-day international certification program, which was delivered by the chartered and expert trainer in Project Management Mark Reeson, covered different aspects such as project and program management, project lifecycle in business, organization and quality, project plans and stakeholder management, scope management and estimation, scheduling and resource management, risk management, change control, configuration management, and cost management.

The training program and assessment project qualified the professionals as Certified International Project Managers (CIPM) by the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM), of which UBT Executive Education is the official provider in the country.

Upon the completion of the program and project, Dr. Amir Dhia, Director General of UBT Executive Education and Ossama Elbatran, Chief Executive Officer of Hadia Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Company, honored the delegates with the qualification certifications. — SG
