King to host 1,000 pilgrims from Sudan

RIYADH –
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman is to host 1,000 pilgrims from Sudan to perform Haj this year, as part of the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Haj, Umrah and visit, implemented and supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Saudi Press Agency reported Sunday.

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, who is also General Supervisor of the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Haj, Umrah and visit, said that out of this sum, 500 pilgrims will be selected from members of the Sudanese army and those belonging to families of Sudanese who were martyred while participating in the "Decisive Storm and Restoring of Hope" operations within the Arab Coalition Forces Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen.
