TAIF — The contractor executing the basic infrastructure and coordination of the general location of Souk Okaz is all set to complete his work during the coming few days and hand over the project to the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

The width of the souk (market) is about 70 meters which will be covered with printed concrete.

Informed sources said the location of the popular souk for the various activities will soon be completed.

They said there will be pavilions for 11 countries participating in this year's event to exhibit their arts, culture and heritage.

The second project in Souk Okaz was the public theater which would be entirely covered.

The sources said the project of the theater included changing the chairs for the audience with a view to making them more comfortable.

The third project is the new gate which will be installed at the end of the souk from the northern part.
