JEDDAH —
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received credentials of ambassadors of a number of countries accredited to the Kingdom at a ceremony held at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Sunday. The ambassadors included John Abizaid of the United States; Chen Weiqing of China; Dr. Ausaf Sayeed of India; and Berik Aryn of Kazakhstan. The King welcomed the new ambassadors and sent his greetings to the leaders of their countries, wishing them all success in their missions to enhance and develop relations between the Kingdom and their countries. For their part, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their leaders to the King, stressing their keenness on enhancing and developing relations between their countries and the Kingdom in all fields, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Chief of the Royal Court Khalid Al-Isa; and a number of senior officials attended the ceremony.
