JEDDAH – Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense, met in Jeddah on Friday with a group of Saudi intellectuals, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, they discussed the future of Saudi culture in the light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The crown prince praised the efforts being exerted by Saudi intellectuals to serve their country and society. He stressed the importance of culture in social and economic development, in addition to its contributions to building bridges of knowledge with other countries and civilizations.
The meeting was attended by Saudi intellectuals representing 16 sectors supported by the Ministry of Culture.
The intellectuals expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their support to cultural and intellectual activities. — SG/SPA
