Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019 showcases comprehensive range of security solutions

JEDDAH — Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Amro, director-general of Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Civil Defense, opened on Saturday Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019, the world’s leading trade fair for Security, Safety and Fire Protection, at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events.

The 3rd edition of Intersec is witnessing a participation of 150 exhibitors from 20 countries showcase a truly comprehensive range of products across seven broad sections: Commercial Security, Smart Home, Information Security, Fire & Rescue, Safety & Health, Homeland Security & Policing and Perimeter & Physical Security.

The annual three-day event will run until April 16 at Jeddah Center for Forums & Events.

Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al-Amro, later toured the exhibition extensively and was accompanied by Al Shareef Mawafaq Al Harith, Chairman of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE), Simon Mellor, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, government officials, organisers, and representatives from the regional security industry at the opening ceremony.

The director-general of the Kingdom’s Civil commented during the opening ceremony: “ “Intersec aims to be at the center of it all, presenting an important platform to network, create and strengthen partnerships, share information and keep up to date with the latest innovations driving regional and global security, safety, and fire protection industries.”

Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Simon Mellor: “Saudi Arabia continues to be one of the biggest markets in the world for the safety, security and fire protection industries as can be seen from the growth of Intersec Saudi Arabia”.

He added “this year a wider range of products, services and new technologies on show than ever before, but also comprises of a comprehensive conference programme that adds immensely to the benefits Intersec Saudi Arabia.”

Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019 covers the key product groups of Commercial Security, Information Security, Perimeter & Physical Security, Homeland Security& Policing, Fire & Rescue, and Safety & Health.

The event features two engaging and insightful forums which bring together all the key stakeholders from regulators, government authorities, solution providers and end-users to discuss strategies and collaborative approaches for security, safety and fire protection in the region.
