CEDA reviews draft national strategy for culture

RIYADH — The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) on Tuesday reviewed the updated draft national strategy for culture, presented by Minister of Culture.

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, chaired the meeting at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

The meeting reviewed a number of economic and development topics and took the necessary recommendations. Minister of Culture briefed the committee on the draft national strategy for culture in the light of the discussions made by the council two weeks ago.

The Council reviewed the current status of the culture and national identity sector, the governance of institutions, and the portfolio of cultural initiatives, as well as the support required for them.— SG/SPA
