4 MoUs on renewable energy, petrochemicals, mining signed

Islamabad — Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Khalid Al-Falih signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the Pakistani side related to various fields during the visit of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

Four memoranda were co-signed in the domain of energy and mining, the first worth SR22.5 billion and another in the domain of renewable energy worth SR7.5 billion.

The third was related to the refining and petrochemicals sector worth SR37 billion.

The fourth MoU was on funding LNG project to secure Pakistan fuel supplies, including power generation, worth SR1.2 billion. — SPA
