AMUOBA slams Pulwama attack

JEDDAH — Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (Jeddah chapter) has strongly condemned the recent terror attack on paramilitary forces in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, the executive committee of AMUOBA said: “We stand as one nation and show solidarity with our valiant brothers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty to ensure that our tomorrows are well-lived.”

It further said: “Our heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones. We sincerely pray for speedy recovery of the brave hearts undergoing treatment in different hospitals.”

The statement lauded the commitment of the paramilitary forces toward their service and loyalty to the country.

“It is not just a day of mourning for India but for the entire humanity. We are in pain and shock. We salute and stand in solidarity with our armed forces and offer our deepest condolences to the bereaved families,” the statement said. — SG
