BISHA — A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Bisha airport in Asir province on Saturday when a female passenger complained of breathing difficulties.
The plane was on its way from Riyadh to the southern city of Jazan when the passenger became ill.
The patient was given first aid aboard the plane but the pilot decided to make the emergency landing to ensure the safety of the passenger.
The passengers were made to disembark at Bisha at 5 p.m. Saturday, as the aircraft had to replenish oxygen cylinders. They continued their onward journey to Jazan aboard another flight after eight hours of waiting.
