MILLENNIUM & Copthorne has announced the appointment of Murad Al-Sabbah as Area General Manager for Millennium Madinah Airport, Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Al-Sabbah, a Jordanian national, with more than 20 years of hospitality experience with top brands such as IHG, Rotana & Warwick International and Wyndham where he was responsible for managing the daily operations, raise brand awareness, financial planning and revenue management.

Al-Sabbah overlooked the opening of Millennium Madinah Airport as a general manager, one of the most luxurious hotels in the Al Madinah Al-Munawarah, the “City of the Holy Prophet”.

Prior to this position, he was Area Director of Sales and Marketing at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels for Saudi Arabia and in-charge of two operational properties and three hotel openings across KSA.

Commenting on his new role, Al-Sabbah said: “I am excited to continue the role that I have taken on during the pre-opening phase of Millennium Madinah Airport. I am looking forward to lead the future growth and development of Millennium Hotels & Resorts in Madinah to further strengthen brand awareness in the existing three hotels in Madinah with more openings to come.”
