flyadeal launches flights to four new destinations from Dammam

January 02, 2019

FLYADEAL, Saudi Arabia’s ‘everyday low fares airline’ and the Kingdom’s third largest operator, has launched flights to four new destinations from Dammam – Riyadh, Madinah, Jazan and Abha. These flights are in addition to the current three daily flights from Dammam to Jeddah and the three daily flights from Jeddah to Dammam.

The new routes will serve the residents of the Eastern Province by offering more options for affordable flights in and out of the Province’s capital Dammam, connecting it to the various regions of the Kingdom with daily flights at everyday low fares.

To mark the launch, a ceremony was held at the departure lounge of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Attendees included Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal; airport officials and employees; and representatives from the media. They were present for the first of the new flights: F3 1175 from Dammam to Riyadh.

In his speech, Korfiatis emphasized the economic and historical importance of Dammam as one of the Kingdom’s major cities whose development projects in various fields have turned it into an industrial behemoth and a global investment destination.

He said “since our inception, we have worked to deliver on our promise of everyday low fares coupled with a great onboard experience delivered with smiles. As we enter 2019, we celebrate new flights from our virtual base in Dammam to four major destinations in the Kingdom: Riyadh, Madinah, Abha and Gizan. We will also start operating a second daily flight from Jeddah to Tabuk from 7th January.”

“We are also pleased to announce the opening of our Riyadh base today. As Saudi Arabia’s capital, main financial hub and an important centre of commerce, we are committed to strengthening our presence and grow our flying here over the course of 2019,” added Korfiatis.

He further said: “We also expect to receive our 11th brand new Airbus A320 (CEO) aircraft this month and this will enable us to expand our network even further. As always, book early on flyadeal.com or our mobile app to enjoy the lowest fares. Remember, seats are limited and when they’re gone, they’re gone.”

flyadeal’s network now comprises 70 daily flights that link all four corners of the Kingdom and are bringing everyday low fares to ever more customers with fares starting from SR78. — SG
