— Arab, Muslim and world leaders congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman on the 4th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.

On Rabi Al-Thani 3, 1436, King Salman became the seventh monarch of Saudi Arabia.

Since King Salman’s ascension to the throne, the Kingdom has witnessed a number of economic and social reforms spearheaded by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense.

His major initiatives as the King include Saudi Vision 2030, a 2017 decree allowing women to drive and streamlining the bureaucracy by constituting the Council for Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA) headed by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as well as the rulers of the seven emirates of the UAE and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince sent separate cables of congratulations to the King.

King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain and Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah praised their deep brotherly relations with the Kingdom. They wished the King permanent health to continue leading the development of the Kingdom, serving the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations and achieving more progress, prosperity under his wise leadership.

Emirs of various regions of the Kingdom highlighted the security, prosperity and progress achieved during King Salman’s reign.

Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif said in a speech, “Thanks to the King’s leadership and policy, we are enjoying security, stability, further progress and prosperity.”
