ONTBLANC continues to expand its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, celebrating the official opening of its latest boutique together with its longstanding partner Al Hussaini Group. Located in Jeddah’s leading retail location, the Red Sea Mall boutique is the first in the Kingdom to unveil the Maison’s new retail design concept currently being rolled out around the world.

The inauguration of the new boutique by Sheikh Mohammed Al Hussaini, CEO of Al Hussaini Group, and Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India and Africa took place during an exclusive reception for VIP customers, media and friends of the Maison.

Designed by French designer and interiors architect Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, the boutique concept narrates Montblanc’s long-standing passion for craftsmanship. The selection of refined materials used in the décor serve to identify each category by the distinct materials with which they are traditionally associated. Watchmaking is brought to life through the use of bronze-sheen brass, leather and wood; black leather and walnut wood reflect the Maison’s leather goods expertise; while lacquers and fine metals evoke writing instruments and jewelry.

The boutique opening provided watch enthusiasts with an opportunity to explore Montblanc’s latest 1858 timepiece collection which pays tribute to the Maison’s exceptional Minerva heritage in a modern way, while expressing the trend of back to nature and adventure. Of special interest to collectors, the boutique also showcases a selection of high complication timepieces, including the limited edition Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarium Arabic, and the 1858 Chronograph Tachymeter in Champagne, of which only 100 pieces were manufactured.

Home to a wide selection of the Maison’s core writing instruments, the new boutique also offers a variety of collectables that include the latest Meisterstück Petit Prince Special Edition collection, and the new Montblanc Homage to Homer special edition writing instrument collection paying tribute to the poet best known for the Iliad and the Odyssey.

“We are delighted to introduce the latest Neo² retail concept in our new boutique in Jeddah, and believe that our customers will truly appreciate exploring each dedicated area of the boutique,” said Franck Juhel, President of Montblanc Middle East, India and Africa. “This is a design that really brings to life the nuances of Montblanc’s craftsmanship, heritage and innovation, and enables us to showcase every Montblanc collection to its best advantage.”

Sheikh Mohammed Al Hussaini, CEO of Al Hussaini Group, said: “Our partnership with Montblanc continues to deepen every year and this is demonstrated by our growing boutique network across Saudi Arabia. The Red Sea Mall is a key luxury retail location in Jeddah, and we look forward to welcoming both our longstanding and new customers to this new Montblanc boutique.”
