Favorites continue to win in RCA T20

Favorite teams continued their dominance in the third round of Vestona Royce T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).

Huraymala League

Falcons lost to Punjab Kings by 7 wickets. Falcons posted 202 for 2. Farrukh smashed 100 as Farhan supported with 37. Punjab Kings reached the target in 17 overs. Rustam (89) and Shahid (65) ensured an easy chase.

AR Sports Green registered a victory over Riyadh Royals by 70 runs. AR piled up 233-6. Khawar recorded a stunning knock of 104 and Rafaqat hit 50. Maqsood and Amir bagged 2 wickets each. Royals managed 163 in reply. Imran showed some resistance with 48. Waqas sent 4 batsmen back to the pavilion.

Pak Force thumped Kashmir Strikers by 4 wickets. Kashmir Strikers collapsed to 149. Ishfaq held one end with 51 off 31 balls. Waheed bagged 4-19. Pak Force scored the required 150 in 17 overs. Fayyaz (41), Mudasir (40) and Mohsin (34) batted well.

Kohsaar was at the receiving end of 107 runs thrashing by Riyadh Zalmi. Imran (81), Rizwan (70) and Shoaib (40) helped Zalmi post 273-4. Khalid and Sohail took 2 wickets each. Kohsaar fumbled to 166 in reply. Aatif was top scorer with 33. Sohail took 3 wickets.

Lahore Badshah Green defeated Pak Riderz by 12 runs. Sahib (45), Mirza (30), Mohsin (31) and Sajid (30) contributed to 208 by Lahore Badshah. Aqeel and Yasir picked up 2 wickets each. Pak Riderz fought hard for 196. Asim (37), Aslam (34) and Yasir (31) batted well. Mohsing and Mirza claimed 3 wickets each.

Royce White Star humbled Sinmar by 17 runs. Royce White Star recorded 207. Ashiq hammered 58 and Sagar 39. Riyas and Hakeem grabbed 3 wickets each. Sinmar, in reply, scored 190. Riyas (55) and Navas (32) fought well. Faisal claimed 3 wickets and Fahad 2.

Diriyah League

Baloch Fighters humbled Riyadh Warriors Yellow by 4 wickets. Warriors piled up 201, thanks to unbeaten openers — Faraz (97 off 56) and Bilal (90 off 65 balls). Sadaqat’s 49-ball 102 helped Fighters chase the target in 18.4 overs. Faraz took 4 wickets.

Gujrat Lions lost to Indian Strikers. Gujrat got all out for 129. Ali scored 30. Anees disturbed the timber 5 times. Kannan (60) and Sunil (44) handed Indians a 10-wicket victory.

Knight Hawks was defeated by Riyadh Thunders. Amir (42), Osama (37) and Noman (30) took Thunders to 183-7. Noman sent 3 players back to pavilion. Knight Hawks scored 173 in reply. Rashid remained unbeaten on 66. Hasnain, Amir, Rashid and Imran took 2 wickets each.

Phoenix won a cliffhanger against Shinkairi Zalmi. Shinkairi racked up 184. Khanzaib (69) and Shoaib (58) smashed fifties. Ammar claimed 5-24. Phoenix got to the target losing 9 wickets. Subyal (46) and Bilal (40) were the key contributors. Inamullah picked up 3 wickets.

In other matches, Khyber Zalmi thumped Asia United by 9 runs and Raavi lost to Shadin Bangla by 8 wickets.
