RIYADH — In line with its efforts to strengthen the localization of knowledge in active partnerships with national entities and institutions, King Faisal Prize on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) to work together for the enrichment of the knowledge arena.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail, secretary-general of King Faisal Prize, and Dr. Saud Bin Saeed Al-Mutahmi, secretary-general of Mawhiba.

Under the MOU, King Faisal Prize and Mawhiba will cooperate in a variety of fields, including the exchange of information and expertise, the enhancement of scientific communication between local and international scientists and researchers, and the organizing of lectures and seminars to discuss topics of mutual interest.

This cooperation comes within the framework of the endeavors of King Faisal Prize to develop communication channels with local, regional and international scientific entities, to achieve its objectives to enrich the knowledge field, recognizing the contributions of scientists, and benefiting from their efforts to serve humanity. — SG
