RIYADH —
SABIC highlighted its national localization initiative, “Nusaned,” at a meeting organized by the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce at its headquarters last Oct. 10, as part of its efforts to be a link between major economic entities and industry.
During the meeting, overseen by the Chamber’s Committee on Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, SABIC presented its strategic objectives for local content development in Saudi Arabia, help create new jobs, support investment opportunities, promote SMEs, and increase exports – empowering Saudi Vision 2030.
SABIC also introduced one of Nusaned’s key pillars, Entema, and briefed the participants on how to use the electronic platform and benefit from it.
In April, SABIC had highlighted Nusaned at the launch of Asharqia Chamber’s Tasheel program. Later in May, SABIC introduced the initiative at meetings in Madinah, Riyadh, Al-Ahsa and Madinah. SABIC also highlighted Nusaned at the Qassim Chamber in September. — SG
