JEDDAH
– Reliable sources disclosed to Okaz that about two months ago the Lebanese Hezbollah militias kidnapped Akram Saad, the financier of the “dirty operations” by the party and Qatar.

The sources informed Okaz that the party was detaining him in one of its secret prisons, believed to be in the Southern Neighborhood, under charges of embezzling US$15 million from the funds belonging to the Iranian terrorist organization.

The sources further said that Akram Saad, who is described as the “black box” of the Iranian militias, was supervising money laundering operations for the proceeds from the Hezbollah drug trade. He was investigated after abduction under the supervision of Qatari officers.

Saad, who is in charge of mobilization, coordination and financial relations between Hezbollah and Qatar, threatened to expose the money laundering of billions of dollars made from the drugs trade by Doha in favor of Hezbollah.

This might be a huge bombshell exposing the suspicious relations and dirty operations linking the “Nasrallah” militias with the “Two Hamads regime”, the sources confirmed.

The same sources revealed that a Syrian businesswoman, only identified as “ND”, (whose real name Okaz is withholding), is living in Doha, and she was helping Akram Saad in money laundering of the terrorist party’s funds in Qatar. Despite his disappearance and their informing his family about this, Okaz has confirmed that the Qatari pressures being exerted on the Lebanese state and its fear about the reactions of the Hezbollah militias, have prevented the opening of the kidnapping case.

It is noteworthy that last June, Akram Saad was subjected to a botched kidnapping attempt. At that time, it was circulated that it was due to a financial dispute between Saad on the one hand and Syrian and Qatari businessmen on the other.

Saad alerted security officials in Lebanon that he was going to be kidnapped. This actually took place some two months ago. What draws one’s attention is that there are no pictures or information available on “Akram Saad” on the Internet except a brief news story published by the website “Alkalima online” last June 11 entitled “Attempt to kidnap former Hezbollah official.”
