King Abdulaziz Historical Trail launched in Jeddah

— Mohammed Al-Aamari, director general of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage (GATNH) in Makkah Region, launched the King Abdulaziz Historical Trail in historic Jeddah on the eve of the 88th Saudi National Day recently.

Journalist Maher Abdul Wahab told Saudi Gazette that Al-Aamari confirmed that it is a historical fact that the late King (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) received citizens and dignitaries to manage the affairs of the state here. He walked from Naseef House through Kabel Street, Nada Market, and Banajah House, where he greeted people in the seat. He prayed with guests and worshipers at all levels in the Hanafi Mosque next to Banajah House.

Al-Aamari added that the idea of this path has been presented by the citizen Muhammad bin Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sharif thanks to the confirmation of historical information, which was that when King Abdulaziz came down to the house of Naseef, he was walking from the house of Naseef to the Hanafi Mosque in Jeddah.
