TABUK —
A double-decker tourist bus on Sunday roamed the streets of Tabuk as part of the city’s National Day celebrations.

The bus, which made its maiden trip, was the project of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH).

Mabrouk Al-Shilaibi, director of the commission, said the tour, in which a number of journalists took part, was within the commission’s celebrations of this great occasion in various parts of the Kingdom.

He said the participants admired the arrangements in the double-decker bus on which patriotic slogans were painted.

Shilaibi said the bus had seats for people with special needs.

He said the tour began from the regional museum and went to a number of commercial and tourist sites including the old Hijaz railway station and the Tabuk historic castle.

The director said the ticket price was made affordable to all people regardless of their income. He added that the commission was keen to provide visitors of the city with distinguished services.
