ILLENNIUM Hotels and Resorts, Middle East and Africa continues its successful expansion strategy by announcing the 5-star 285-key Millennium Resort Salalah. The opening of Millennium Resort Salalah marks the fourth property operated by Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Oman, including Grand Millennium Muscat, Millennium Executive Apartments Muscat and Millennium Resort Mussanah. Now recognised as one of the fastest growing regional hotel management companies in the Middle East & Africa, Millennium Hotels & Resorts currently operates 35 hotels, with 11 hotels due to open in 2018 and 40 hotels in the pipeline across the region.

Boasting the largest ballroom in Salalah with a capacity of 1,000, the unique modern city resort is located in the area of Al Saada in Northern Salalah just 15-minutes from the airport. A few kilometers from the new Salalah Grand Mall, Al-Mughsail Beach and nearby Ateen Mountain, plus tourist attractions such as Old Luban Souq, Lost City of Ubar, Al-Balid Archaeological Park and Al Haffa Old Souk. – the new destination property will be popular with business and leisure travellers alike.

Millennium Resort Salalah offers a choice of four restaurants and cafes, including Sky Grill Restaurant, serving traditional Omani cuisine and rooftop panoramic views of the nearby mountains and coast below. Other resort dining options are all-day dining restaurant Taybat, serving international fare in an expansive space with indoor and outdoor seating, seafood restaurant Bahriyat and the comfortable Zest Café for coffee and lighter dining.

The 1,000-capacity Millennium Resort Salalah Ballroom acts as an ideal backdrop for a range of events – from weddings to corporate meetings. Featuring stunning contemporary designs, elegant interiors and the latest technology, it can be transformed into a dual-entertainment venue for multiple functions.
