Set in the historical heart of Brussels, Hotel Amigo is a luxury hotel situated just off the Grand Place and minutes' walk from the major tourist attractions in the city. It comprises of 173-rooms with 19 suites and a high-end Italian restaurant. The hotel is great for business and luxury travelers including celebrities and large families. The illustrious hotel is decorated with Belgian accents, reflecting the city’s history and heritage, and Olga Polizzi has refurbished many of the rooms and suites. The rooms echo understated luxury with a bold artistic feel that makes each room unique. The attention to detail includes fixtures and fittings with a Belgian touch, including surrealist prints from Belgian artists such as Marcel Broodthaers and Rene Magritte that are featured in many guestrooms. The classic room size starts at 28 square metres, including other suite categories, some with interconnecting doors to adjacent rooms for families with children who might predominantly enjoy the ‘Tintin Suite’ where visitors will find all sorts of prints, characters and collectables from Herge’s famous comic book series ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ at the hotel. Cribs, babysitting and a kids' club are also available for children. The hotel location offers guests easy access to many of Brussels’ attractions, such as La Grand-Place square, Parc de Bruxelles, the city’s largest urban public park, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and the Manneken statue. The capital city of Belgium is reknown for its gastronomy and stunning architecture. Other popular tourist attractions in the area include the Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate. Europe comes alive in summer, with activities and adventures the whole family will enjoy including parades, fun-filled fairgrounds, bike tours, boat trips, picnics and puppet shows in sun-dappled parks.

Visit the Boghossian Foundation that promotes cultural exchange and education between eastern and western countries; it ultimately hopes to use fine arts to inspire children and teenagers from around the world resulting in cultural understanding and appreciation. In 2010, the Villa Empain – a 1930’s home in Brussels – was converted into a gallery and art center by the Armenian-Lebanese Boghossian family. The resulting Boghossian Foundation not only Classed as a historical monument by the Brussels-Capital Region, the Boghossian Foundation is a cultural association which hosts a rich artistic program and unique activities all year round: exhibitions, concerts, and conferences, dance performances, workshops for kids, artist encounters, guided tours, meetings, film screenings, performances, yoga classes and so on. Located in an upmarket residential area, it’s an Art Deco masterpiece. From the striking front door to the rear swimming pool, the former home of Baron Louis Empain oozes timeless chic. Designed by Swiss architect Michel Polak, it’s now a museum promoting a dialogue between Eastern and Western culture. There are some fascinating temporary exhibitions such as a recent one featuring artworks by Daniel Buren, Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol. Carine Gilson’s Couture House is another must visit especially for the female travelers and guests at Hotel Amigo. Check out their latest offers this summer.
