RIYADH – The Saudi Royal Air Forces intercepted on Friday evening a ballistic missile fired by Houthi militias targeting the southern city of Najran.
Col. Turki Al-Malki, spokesman of the Coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen, said that the missile was fired by the Houthi militias at around 9.25 p.m. from the Yemeni governorate of Amran toward the Saudi territories.
The Saudi forces were successful in intercepting and destroying the missile in an uninhabited desert area in Najran. No one was hurt in the attack, he added. — SG/SPA
