NAJRAN – The bodies of two Saudi scholarship students, who drowned in the United States, arrived here on Sunday and were received by their families in Najran, in the southern part of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
The Saudi students died while trying to save two children from drowning in a river in the United States.
Theeb Bin Manea Bin Jasser Al Rakah and Jasser Bin Saham Bin Jasser Al Rakah, were on Saudi scholarships in the State of Massachusetts, US, when they tragically died by drowning while bravely trying to rescue two helpless children who were themselves floundering the river.
The bodies were received by senior officials and the families of the deceased at Najran Airport. – SPA
