Chevrolet offers 24/7 roadside help to women drivers in KSA

June 22, 2018

AS part of Chevrolet Middle East’s ongoing efforts to support women in Saudi Arabia in anticipation of June 24th and their newfound possibility to decide to take the driving seat; Chevrolet pledges to reduce road safety and vehicle breakdown concerns by opening its 24/7 Roadside Assistance service to all women drivers in the Kingdom regardless of the car brand they drive.

Making this program available beyond the standard offer that comes with all-new Chevrolets for 4 years, Chevrolet aims to deliver the same level of confidence that its customers enjoy to all women deciding to join the Kingdom’s driving community. The Chevrolet roadside assistance program will start once the ban lifts on June 24th as part of the decree issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Molly Peck, Chief Marketing Officer at General Motors Middle East, commented: “Safety is part of our very foundation at Chevrolet and we continuously work to find ways to deliver on this promise to our customers, their cars, and their security on the road, KSA is no different. Engrained in the Saudi community for over 90 years now, we have been a constant companion providing dependable means of transport to both men and women which is why extending our 24/7 Roadside Assistance program to all women drivers in Saudi was a natural step for Chevrolet.”

She added: “With our #UpToMe campaign earlier this year, we greeted His Majesty’s announcement with optimism to recognize Saudi women’s new-found possibility to decide, emphasizing that from this June onwards, it’s up to them. I am extremely proud that with this move, women exercising their choice to drive in the Kingdom can now have complete peace of mind thanks to the response, security and convenience of our 24/7 Roadside Assistance program, regardless of what brand of car they decide to drive.”

Chevrolet’s extended 24/7 Roadside Assistance offer will be available for women drivers in KSA for 8 weeks from June 24th, and will include:

· Recovery in the event of an accident

· Flat Tire Changes (Spare installed if equipped)

· Courtesy Transportation to get you home again

· Lockout Service (Keys locked inside vehicle)

· Fuel delivery up to 20 liters

· Recovery from being stuck in sand

· Emergency Towing

· Battery Jump Starts

As part of Chevrolet’s Complete Care aftersales package, the Chevrolet Regional Roadside Assistance program offers the above 24/7 emergency assistance services and more to customers across the GCC, Jordan and Lebanon. — SG
