PNSF holds ‘Ahtaram-e-Ramadan’ program

JEDDAH — Pakistan National Solidarity Forum (PNSF) organized a program entitled “Ahtaram-e-Ramzan (Respect to Ramadan) with iftar and dinner at Trident Hotel Jeddah (Diamond Hall) recently.

A large number of distinguished members from Pakistani community, representatives of major political parties and social forums including Pakistan People Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Muslim League-Quid-e-Azam (PML-Q), Jamiat-e-Ulama Islam-Fazal-ul-Rehman (JUI-F), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Awami National Party (ANP), Jammu Kashmir Community Overseas (JKCO), Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Business Community (PBC), Jett Forum, Pakistan Journalists Forum (PJF), Engineers Welfare Forum (EWF), Pakistan Welfare Society (PWS) and others, attended the function.

The program started with the recitation of few verses from Holy Qur’an by Qari Mohammed Asif and Naat by Murtaza Raees.

Dr. Qari Abdul Basit, a religious scholar, described the need for unity and solidarity in the light of Islamic teaching and Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) sayings before iftar. Then before dinner Dr. Amjad Obaid gave a presentation on healthy foods in Ramadan.

Other speakers Nosherwaun Khattak, (ANP), Eng. Altaf Awan (EWF), Maulana Sami ul Haq (JUI-F) and CEO Zultec Zulqarnain Ali Khan (Chief organizer PTI Middle East) emphasized on unity and harmony among the Pakistani expatriate community living in Saudi Arabia in their brief addresses.

They also praised the efforts of Syed Riaz Bukhari to form PNSF with good faith and intention to unite the Pakistani community members from all walks life at one platform.

Bukhari, founder convener PNSF, thanked all the guests and representative of associated parties and forums for attending the function. Eng. Asif Mahmood Butt and Amir Mohammed Khan conducted the proceedings.

The event rounded off with Qari Abdul Basit making supplications for Pakistan, Kashmiri brothers and whole Muslim Ummah.
