KSRelief increases its relief efforts in Ramadan

— The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has increased its humanitarian efforts to ameliorate the suffering of Muslims in various parts of the world with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

KSRelief has continued the distribution of 264,080 Iftar meal packets in 13 Yemeni governorates.

Iftar meal packets are being distributed to displaced Yemenis and patients underdoing treatment in hospitals in various parts of the war-torn country being pillaged by Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

Thousands of Yemenis received Iftar meal packets in Redman directorate of Al-Bayda governorate, Qa’atabah district in Dhale, Taiz governorate, Ataq district of Shabwah governorate, Marib governorate, Al-Ghaydah directorate of Al-Mahra governorate, Al-Hazm directorates of Al-Jawf governorate, Al-Buraiqeh and Khormaksar districts in Aden governorate.

KSRelief also distributed 1,800 cartons of dates to cancer patients, disabled and the mentally ill in Aden.

A total of 365 food baskets were distributed to the needy families in Rakhine (Arakan), Myanmar, as part of the framework of humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom for the needy people in several countries, including Myanmar.

KSRelief also provided support for agriculture and livestock for needy families in Syria.

The Center provided farming supplies including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. It also gave training to beneficiaries on different agricultural activities.

The Center also provided sheep, cows, veterinary care, and vaccines.

Meanwhile in Khartoum, Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Ali Bin Hassan Ja’afar inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Iftar Project benefitting 2,000 families in a number of states.
