Danish mission celebrates the birthday of the Queen

— The Danish mission to Saudi Arabia held a celebration to mark the birthday of Queen Margrethe the second of Denmark.

During the ceremony, Denmark’s ambassador Ole Moesby and the Honorary Consul General of Denmark Sheikh Majed Al Hokair welcomed and received the guest at Radisson blu hotel.

It was a key important national occasion for the Danish nation. The celebration was attended by Ambassador Jamal Balkhoyor, director general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Makkah Region branch, and several distinguished dignitaries including diplomats, government officials and businessmen.

The Ambassador Moesby, on the occasion, said: “It is a pleasure to be here. We have one of the most prominent honorary consul Sheikh Majed Al Hokair, and it is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate with him. I am so pleased to be here.”

Moesby added: “At the end of the day, we would like to celebrate Denmark’s cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I hope that we will manage to maintain the very good relations between the two countries”

Sheikh Majed Al Hokair emphasized: “The relations between Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Denmark are excellent in many matters, and we are working on strengthening these relations.”
