HUAWEI Consumer Business Group launched in Saudi Arabia its new phone “Huawei P20 Pro”, the first smartphone with a triple-lens camera co-engineered with Leica, as well as its new tablet “Huawei MediaPad M5” for users in the Kingdom during the launch event it hosted in Riyadh and attended by a large group of journalists and social media influencers. The launch of new device in the Saudi market comes as part of Huawei’s commitment in providing users in the Kingdom with the latest products that suit all tastes and meet all needs.
In this occasion, the President of Huawei Consumer Business Group in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Pablo Ning said: “at Huawei, we are committed in introducing the latest technologies for users, and we saw that it was essential to improve the smartphones photography experience on all levels. Therefore, we launched Huawei P20 Pro that comes with AI technologies and other impressive technical features, in addition to launching Huawei MediaPad M5. The two devices combine the latest advance technologies with elegant and attractive design that reflects the personalities of users.”
The new Huawei P20 Pro is considered the first smartphone in the world with a triple-lens camera co-engineered with Leica, the German company that is specialized with camera lens manufacturing. This camera system has the biggest number of pixels among other smartphones in the market, where it is configured with 40mp RGB sensor, 20mp monochrome sensor, 8mp telephoto sensor. The also features a color temperature sensor with f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture to capture clearer, and more vibrant photos in low light.
The new tablet Huawei MediaPad M5 in a convenient design and a curved metal body that is easy to use for users. The device comes with an elegant and eye-catching design as well as an 8.4-inch and 10.8-inch with 2K resolution display and an 82% screen-to-body ratio to provide the highest levels of productivity and entertainment while watching videos, browsing or performing some work tasks.
Huawei has also taken into consideration the health of its users’ in designing the device’s screen, which uses 2.5D curved glass to rest the eyes by lowering the eye-straining blue light to make it easier for users to read and use the device for long periods as the new device will set the color temperature automatically based on the surrounding environment of the user’s.
In addition to its elegant design, the device also provides advanced photography capabilities due to using a 13mp rear camera and another 8mp front camera. The tablet also comes with speakers by Harman-Kardon, one of the leading names in acoustic technology. The new device is also featured with Histen technology by Huawei to provide an overwhelming 3D audio experience through the integrated speakers that support high quality audio technologies in addition to Hi-Res audio technology, where every part of the recording is analyzed comprehensively to have a deeper and more entertaining listening experience as well as higher-volume audio and less noisy, offering a higher engagement level while watching movies and playing video games.
The new device comes with an 8.4-inch or a 10.8-inch display, a 32GB or a 64GB storage capacity, a 4GB RAM and 4G LTE technologies. Soon, Huawei will also have a special edition of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro available in the first two weeks of May. The special version will be supported with the smart M-Pen that can recognize 4,096 different levels of pressures, providing high accuracy and ease in taking notes on the device as well as drawing and designing in the highest resolution possible.
