Lahore Badshah thrashes Pak Shaheen

RIYADH — Lahore Badshah thrashed Pak Shaheen by 190 runs in Western Union T20

Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Western Union at RCA Sports Complex.

In Al-Kharj League, Lahore Badshah beat Riyadh Warriors Green by 5 wickets. Put into bat first, Riyadh Warriors Green managed 147. Saqib Saleem scored 53 and Amjad Ali 21. Awais, Fahad, Imran and Mudassar took 2 wickets each. Lahore Badshah got the required runs in 16.1 overs. Najeeb Asghar added 69 and Mudassar 25. Iftikhar and Amjad bagged 2 wickets each. Pakistan Falcons got the better of Fuchs Lions CC by 19 runs. Pakistan Falcons batting first scored 215-9. Faisal hit 79, Asim 53 and Arif 22. Saud picked up 4 wickets. Fuchs Lions were all out for 196. Danish made 43, Javed 40, Obaid 33 and Sami 24. Faisal and Inam claimed 3 wickets each, while Arif got 2.

Lahore Badshah in its second match of the day trounced Pak Shaheen by a huge margin of 190 runs. Put into bat first, Lahore Badshah amassed a mammoth total of 312-2. Mudassar played brilliantly and remained unbeaten on 155 off 65 balls. Malik Fahad hit 66 and Fahad Munir 44. Pak Shaheen was bundled out for 122. Bilal hit 51. Awais grabbed 4 wickets and Mudassar 3.

Sama Steel defeated Friends CC by 5 wickets. Friends CC electing to bat first recorded 222-7. Khurram hit 85 and Irshad 68. Rizwan picked up 4 wickets. Sama Steel won the match in the last over. Rizwan smashed 68 off 32 balls, while Kamran added 40, Shoaib 32 and Asif 29. Latafat and Jabbar took 2 wickets each.

In Hayer-Diriyah United League, L’usine CC beat Green Bangla by 11 runs. L’usine CC batting first scored 237-5. Yasif slammed 85, Talal 52 and Rustam 41. Zakir claimed 2 wickets. Green Bangla managed 226-9. Zakir scored 66, Mazhar 59 and Saif Ul Islam 41. Talal picked up 4 wickets and Nirmal 2.

Sterling and Wilson Challengers XI downed Cricket Samarwa by 96 runs. Challengers XI posted 224-4. Safdar added 59, Haroon 53, Faisal 43 and Fahad 32. Asim took 2 wickets. Cricket Samarwa was all out for 128. Hamzullah scored 50 and Ahsan 30. Mudassir was the pick of the bowlers with 5 wickets.

Thales CC beat Falcons CC by 7 wickets. Falcons scored 167-7. Nadeem hit 62 and Farrukh 41. Zaheer claimed 3 wickets and Sheraz 2. Thales CC won the match in 16.5 overs. Sheraz added 83 and Aziz 46. Ateeq took 2 wickets.

Riyadh United CC defeated Pakistan XI by 37 runs. Riyadh United tallied 237-7. Taufiq Shahzad scored 78, Zain ul Abideen 49 and Naveed 39. Anwar, Abdullah and Zain took 2 wickets each. Pakistan XI was all out for 200. Haseeb remained unbeaten on 91 off 42 balls, while Sajid added 26. Sudeep Kumar and Faisal Sheikh took 3 wickets each.

Kohsar CC prevailed over Raavi CC by 4 wickets in a last-ball thriller. Raavi CC tallied 230-6. Zia contributed 70, Adnan 48 and Abubaker and Sajid 30 each. Nasir Abbasi Junior took 3 wickets and Tahir Mushtaq got 2. Kohsar CC won the match on the last ball of the 20th over. Shahbaz scored 72, Tahir Mushtaq 61 and Qasim Abbasi 47. Minhaj took 2 wickets.

Pakistan XI beat Raavi CC by 5 wickets. Raavi CC scored 242. Abdullah took 3 wickets. Pakistan XI chased this stiff target in 19.5 overs. Abdullah blasted 69, Faisal 56 and Islam and Fazal 33 each.

PTI Tigers A defeated Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators by 14 runs. Batting first, PTI Tigers A was all out for 132. Manzoor scored 49. Shakeel picked up 2 wickets. Pakhtunkhawa Gladiators were restricted to 118. Shabeer grabbed 4 wickets and Nizam 3.

Thales CC beat L’usine CC by 6 wickets. L’usine CC, batting first, scored 165-8. Syed Sallauddin contributed 68. Abdul Khader, Sheraz and Zaheer took 2 wickets each. Thales CC won the match in 17.5 overs. Kashif added 53 and Imran 32.

Riyadh Zalmi CC defeated KFSH Green by 44 runs. Riyadh Zalmi batting first posted 201-9. Rizwan Niazi top scored with 78. Waseem, Alam and Mansoor took 2 wickets each. KFSH Green was all out for 157. Safeer added 63. Sohail and Adnan picked 4 wickets each.

AR Sports CC downed TBCC by 5 wickets. TBCC posted 171. Faisal added 75 and Zaid 33. Waqas, Waheed, Abbas and Adnan took 2 wickets each. AR Sports CC got to the target in 17.1 overs. Adnan top scored with 42 while Mudassar and Shafeeq added 28 each. — SG
