King Salman, Crown Prince offer condolences to French president

RIYADHCustodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent on Friday a cable of condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron, on the victims of the terrorist attack that took place in southern France, Saudi Press Agency reported Friday night.

In his cable, the King said: "We have been informed with utmost sorrow and grief on the news of the terrorist attack, resulting in deaths and injuries. While we denounce and disapprove of such a sinful criminal act, we express to you, the families of the dead and the people of France, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the sincerest condolences, praying to Almighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon them, and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.”

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, sent a similar cable of condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday on the victims of the terror attack in southern France.

In his cable, the Crown Prince extended to the French President, government and people and the families of the victims profound sympathy, while wishing the injured a quick recovery. – SPA
